ROLE DESCRIPTION State Farm Agency in Chicago 60618 (North Center) seeks a friendly, outgoing, organized, efficient people person to fulfill administrative and service duties, and support our insurance agency in gaining and keeping customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
  • Reach out to insurance prospects and existing policyholders, so licensed agents may help protect individuals and businesses address their gaps in coverage, with additional products.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fast learner
  • Positive attitude, Coachable and open to feedback
  • Strong computer skills
  • Willing and able to acquire required insurance producers’ licenses
