ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member for Jim Tom - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments.   • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Represent the agency at community events and support local brand growth - Ability to build a center of influence, network of contacts, to create referrals for prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in person and by phone
  • Complete State Farm product training modules within required timeline
  • Participate in ongoing sales and insurance training
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty licenses (preferred)
  • If unlicensed, willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license with our agency’s support prior to office training, then Life & Health right afterwards.

  • Receptive to feedback and performance coaching
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
  • Competitive, highly self-motivated and enjoys being rewarded for your efforts and productivity
  • Able to work independently and hold yourself accountable for performance
COMPENSATION/BENEFIT
  • Base Pay (doe)
  • Performance-Based Incentives. Incentives are based on productivity and are not guaranteed. Payments are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan, which is subject to change at agency’s discretion.
  • Insurance License Fee (P&C & L&H) reimbursed after 3 mths of employment

Compensation $38,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
